SUMMARY OF ACTIVISM AND ADVOCACY
The Transsexual Menace
  • Beginning of activism work. Member of the group that advocated, campaigned, marched, and picketed for the just prosecution and sentencing for the murder of Chanelle Pickett in 1995 in Boston, MA.

Transgender Day of Remembrance
  • Keynote speaker since the beginning of TDOR in 1998 in various cities and locations including Boston, MA; New York City, NY; Buffalo, NY; Philadelphia, PA; Washington, D.C.; Richmond, VA; Baltimore, MD; San Mateo, CA; and Chicago, IL. Pioneered and developed annual TDOR event in Berkshire County in 2017.

Keynote Speaker
  • Prepared and delivered speeches involving transgender issues, racial and ethnic diversity, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, income disparity, LGBTQ+ healthcare, intersectional accessibility, intellectual property, HIV/AIDs and STI awareness and prevention, and the modern gentrification of New York City at locations including Harvard University, Columbia University, New York University, Gay Men’s Health Crisis, Hetrick-Martin Institute, New Jersey Performing Arts Center, Philly Trans Health Conference, and more.

Forum Panelist
  • Member of hundreds of panels over the last 25 years speaking on a wide array of topics similar to those that were keynoted and most notably at the Ryan White National Youth Conference in Chicago, IL and with BAGLY and Boston GLASS’s Shades of Color in Boston, MA.

  • Fundraised for and hosted events for The House of Balenciaga and SOMWA Foundation (Survivors of Mothers with AIDS)
